"I believe there is no boundary between art and life, but there is a gap between reality and imagination. This gap between imagination and reality may be experienced differently by people of diverse cultural backgrounds, but once inside the gap, we have much in common. My interest in Taoism and its basic concepts of duality has influenced not only my personal philosophy but also my work.

Using non-traditional, materials, such as plastic and take-out foil lids simple lines and express simple stick figures. I try to tell stories which have no beginning and no end--- whether in two or three dimensions, or computer animation. The artwork represents two parts of my life, before and after I came to New York, breaking borders between time and space. I want to show how people can shift easily back and forth between the gap, focusing on people’s interactions with the world, as well as each other, and themselves. Every corner of the world has felt the impact of the digital age. People are becoming more united and uniform through this impact, and its effect on everyday experiences individually, which will make us all share the same education one day. People bond through the Internet, and have similar experiences in consuming such culture, and have responsibility in regulation of technology.

In my work people look the same, it is just a matter of the number of lines and size, yet what differentiates the people I draw is their imagination, manifested as energy. Energy is shared and transferred back and forth between one and another. Sometimes the energy makes them larger than they are, and sometimes one person’s energy disappears into another’s. In my work the line change and explore to give a simple story. The lines simply emmulate gestures, motion, action, etc., but it is not telling the complete story. It is about the simple line communication. It is about something we lost, but we are familiar with them."
